Le Balene Possono Volare presents:

A distant future, everyone is controlled by the Authority and the culture is banned in order to abolish emotions. Four different books, four different characters, but one and only story: “We”, by Evgenij Ivanovič Zamjatin (1919-1921), “Brave New World”, by Aldous Huxley (1932), “1984”, by George Orwell (1948), and “Fahrenheit 451”, by Ray Bradbury (1953).
We chose these four books to represent Dystopia and Culture Obscurantism in the 20th Century.

Through an interaction between those books and the movies inspired by them, we’ll discover why the word “Dystopia” is still contemporary.

Would you be indifferent to Beethoven’s Ninth Simphony? What would you feel watching the “Mona Lisa” burning? You can secretly test your reaction, but we won’t censor you to share it with us.
